As a first-time traveller to Hawaii, you may be wondering what you should do if you’re planning a trip to the islands.

What to do if your flight has been cancelled, cancelled for a different reason, or cancelled at all Hawaii Airlines will not cancel or reschedule your flight unless you have a valid reason for doing so.
This is because you must still pay for your flight and will need to rebook in the next day or two if your ticket was cancelled.
This also applies to other airlines who are cancelling flights to Hawaii.
If you are a first time visitor, there are some things you need to be aware of when travelling to Hawaii: You can’t use the same credit card as you normally do, or the card will be removed from your account within a week If you have any travel restrictions on your travel, or if your airline has cancelled your ticket or refused to re-book, you must rebook within 24 hours.
If the airline has refused to give you a refund or replacement, you should contact them to see if you can get your money back.
If your flight is cancelled, you can rebook with a different airline.
If this happens, you’ll need to arrange to meet a new flight and rebook your flight.
If that doesn’t work, you could be charged a cancellation fee and you’ll be forced to reboard.
You can check the status of your flight with your airline or check on your flight status on the Hawaiian Airlines website.
If there’s no airline available to reBook your flight, you might have to wait for a new carrier to get your flight booked, which can take up to a month.
If a carrier you’ve booked to fly to Hawaii is cancelled for any reason, you need another flight to Hawaii if you want to fly back to Hawaii again.
It’s worth making sure you have all your personal items on board, such as any travel insurance, in case you get stranded.
If all else fails, the airlines that have cancelled flights to the US will be able to reschew and re-schedule your ticket.
They will usually do this if you are booked to travel within a certain period of time.

It is illegal to bring a firearm or ammunition into the US.
If arriving from outside the US, you are subject to the same restrictions as you would if you were coming into the country.
If leaving the US through the US border, you have to pay an additional fee of US$200 (£156) or more for each item you bring with you.
If it’s raining or you’re unsure of the weather conditions, you’re likely to find it difficult to find a flight to and from the islands and you will need an alternative way to travel to and between Hawaii.
