Allianzo, the world’s first airline to fly in-flight from the United Kingdom, has made its first UK trip to its new base in the heart of the city of London.
The airline said the experience was an exciting one and “exceeded our expectations”.
The plane, named Allianze A380, departed London’s Heathrow Airport at 8:42am on Monday (AEST) on a private Boeing 737 MAX, arriving in the UK’s capital at 10:12am.
The flight had an itinerary including a stopover in Birmingham, Glasgow and Cardiff, with stops in Leeds, Manchester and Leeds.
The first leg of the trip will leave Birmingham on March 23 and arrive in London on March 25.
The second leg of travel, to Cardiff, will be held on April 10.
It will be followed by a flight to the Canary Islands in April 2019, which will be an opportunity to see the city for the first time, Allianzer said.
The company has said it plans to continue flying into the UK from London and its new London base.
Allianza has not announced any new routes.
“We’re looking forward to seeing the UK and Europe and the people and sights we’ve been blessed to see, from our home base in Birmingham to the unique cities of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland,” Allianzar said.
Allanz, which was founded in 1769, is one of the world-leading travel and insurance companies, with more than 4,000 staff in more than 100 countries.
