If you’re not using your Google account for work, you’ll have to change your password in order to access your account on your mobile phone or tablet.
Google said the change will take effect on Wednesday, the same day it announced the domestic travel restriction.
Uber said the same date will follow.
The news follows the announcement last week that Google, Yahoo and Microsoft were blocking users from using their personal accounts to use mobile apps in the U.S. until further notice.
The change, if made, will likely also apply to the other top tech companies.
It’s unclear what the impact will be on those who currently have their Google, Twitter and Facebook accounts locked down.
